Artin Yousefi is a Ph.D. Fellow in the NSF Research Traineeship in Designing Trustworthy AI Systems (DTAIS) at The George Washington University, advised by TRAILS Deputy Director David Broniatowski. His research evaluates how large language models change their behavior across users and contexts; his first-author paper "Same Question, Different Answers: auditing persona-dependent variation in LLM smoking-cessation advice" appeared at the AAAI/ACM Conference on AI, Ethics, and Society (AIES 2026). He has been involved with TRAILS since its start, presenting his quit smoking chatbot, a framework to build one, and research showcasing AI developmental advances through the lens of Fuzzy-Trace Theory, at previous TRAILS events.
